Facebook recently announced its willingness to go back to the initial values of its News Feed. In fact, the most famous social network published a post in its Newsroom about changes it will implement in News Feed’s ranking algorithm. More of your parents, friends and less of news. What is this all about and how will your News Feed look like in the coming days? We are answering these questions below.

I am a casual Facebook user – How will my News Feed change? 

Depending on your connections, you will now see more of your friends or family posts at the top of your News Feed and vice versa. You might as well consider what you are posting particularly if your boss or parents are in your friend list.

I have a Facebook page – How will this affect my reach? 

Now this update may cause Facebook pages to have a decrease in their reach and referral traffic. For example, if a lot of your referral traffic is the result of people sharing your content and their friends liking and commenting on it, there will be less of an impact than if the majority of your traffic comes directly through Page posts. We encourage Pages to post things that their audience are likely to share with their friends.

This change will give rise to a need for good content marketing strategies and analysis skills to understand your target audience properly. Here are some ideas how to do it:
