Things you can do over a long weekend [Free Week Planner]

A long weekend ahead? While you might have already planned what you are going to do others are still figuring how to make this 3-days “useful” and fulfilling. Weekend are ideal for you to rest or catch up on pending tasks but you should also remember to relax and take care of both your mental and physical health.

Here are some ideas how you can boost up your health to have a dynamic start next week.

The Zen-Attitude

You just spent a whole week full of emotions and a lot of responsibilities. During the upcoming 3 days weekend, give yourself some time to relax and have  a peace of mind.

There are several ways how you can relax. To name a few – Reading, writing or praying are good example where you can have some calming time for your inner self while enriching your mind.

Treat Yourself

With the stress or pending work that we want to finish, we often find ourselves eating here and there . Lack of time and urgency of everyday life make us choose the fastest solutions to everything.

Its never too much to treat yourself with a good and healthy diet. Why not go green and make sure that you are taking care of your body. If you prefer cooking your own food – you may browse for some easy recipes.

Stay Offline

An average person sleeps for about 8 hours  21 minutes per day but spends 8 hours 41 minutes on different media. Out of which 81 percent are connected via their phone (DailyMail) . Being online is the new way of socializing.

We agree that it has some advantages but it also has a lot of disadvantages. For instance, it costs you time to be spent on real concrete relationships. Take some time to cut off from Social media and go out to experience nature and real good conversations with your friends.

Do some sports

Most people today spend less and less time doing sports. This affects your body and mind. Chronic diseases such as Diabetes or heart attack are often linked to the lack of sports.

On the other side, sports help you to have a mental stability and can develop certain skills. For example, it is believed that playing ping pong develop your reaction time.

Whether it is through sports or eating healthy food, this weekend take some time for yourself and refresh your body and mind.
